Launch a token

Launching takes one transaction and about a minute. Everything below is decided at launch and most of it is permanent, so it is worth reading before you deploy.

What gets created

A single transaction deploys your token and its bonding curve together, and mints the entire supply up front. There is no mint function afterwards — the supply is fixed.

AllocationAmountWhere it goes
Total supply1,000,000,000Fixed forever, no further minting
Bonding curve800,000,000 (80%)Sold to buyers as the price rises
Liquidity reserve200,000,000 (20%)Paired with the raised WETH at graduation
Team / creator0No allocation — creators earn from fees instead
You do not receive tokens for launching. If you want a position in your own token you buy it like everyone else — see dev buy below. Creator income comes from the trade fee, not from an allocation.

Filling in the form

Name, ticker and image

The name and ticker are written on-chain and can never be changed. Your image is pinned to IPFS and referenced by the token's metadata URI, which is also immutable — so upload the final artwork, not a placeholder.

Both static images and short videos (MP4) are supported for the main avatar.

An optional wide image shown at the top of your token's page. Use a 3:1 ratio — 1500×500 works well. This is the same ratio DEX aggregators expect for a header image, so one asset covers both.

Description and links

Twitter, Telegram and website links appear on your token page. They are stored in the same immutable IPFS metadata, so they cannot be edited after launch — double-check them for typos before you deploy.

Choosing a fee tier

You pick the trade fee your token charges. It applies to every buy and sell on the curve, and you keep 70% of it.

TierYou earnTrade-off
1%0.7% of volumeCheapest to trade — most attractive to buyers
3%2.1% of volumeMiddle ground
5%3.5% of volumeHighest revenue, but traders may avoid it
The fee tier is permanent. It is stored on the curve at launch and there is no function to change it. A high fee also slows graduation, because more of every buy goes to fees instead of the raise.

The dev buy

You can optionally buy some of your own token in the same transaction that creates it. This is the only way to get a position at the very bottom of the curve.

This buy is exempt from the anti-snipe surcharge, because it executes inside the creation call itself — it is the creator taking the floor deliberately rather than a bot racing to front-run everyone.

Traders can see dev buys on-chain. A large one is often read as a signal that the creator intends to sell into early buyers, so size it thoughtfully.

After you launch

  • Two prediction markets are created automatically: will it graduate within 7 days, and will it reach 200 unique buyers within 7 days.
  • Your token appears in Explore under New.
  • Fees accrue to you as people trade. Claim them from Portfolio.
  • If it graduates, liquidity moves to Uniswap V4 and is locked permanently. You keep earning fees from the locked position.

Graduation

A token graduates when its bonding curve sells out — all 800,000,000 curve tokens bought. That happens at roughly 2 WETH raised.

At that moment the raised WETH and the 200,000,000 liquidity reserve are paired into a Uniswap V4 pool, and the LP position is locked permanently. Nobody can withdraw it — not the creator, not us. Trading continues on Uniswap from then on, and the creator keeps earning fees from the locked position.

Most tokens never get there. That is the normal outcome, not a malfunction.

What you cannot change later: name, ticker, image, description, social links, fee tier, and supply. Effectively everything. Review the form carefully before confirming.
