Safety & risks

Read this page before you trade. Memecoins are among the highest-risk assets that exist, and most of them go to zero.

Assume you will lose everything you put in. The overwhelming majority of tokens launched on platforms like this one end up worthless. Only commit money you can afford to lose entirely. Nothing on this site is investment advice.

What the protocol does protect against

Some common scams are structurally impossible here, because of how the contracts are built rather than because of any promise:

RiskWhy it cannot happen
Rug pull of graduated liquidityThe LP position NFT is held by a locker with no withdrawal, burn, or decrease function. Nobody can remove it — not the creator, not the protocol.
Infinite mintSupply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 at creation. There is no mint function.
Team dumping an allocationCreators receive no tokens at launch. Any position they hold was bought on the curve like everyone else's.
Draining the curveThe curve has no owner-withdrawal path. Quote leaves only through a normal sell or through graduation.
Manipulated market resolutionOutcomes are read from on-chain state, evaluated as of the deadline. No oracle, no admin vote.

What it does not protect against

This is the more important list. None of the above stops you from losing money.

  • The price going to zero. Locked liquidity guarantees a market exists, not that it has any particular value. A graduated token can still fall 99%+.
  • A creator selling their dev buy. Creators can buy at the bottom and sell into early buyers. Check the dev buy size before you enter.
  • Coordinated groups. Nothing prevents a group from buying together, promoting hard, and exiting into the demand they created.
  • Tokens that never graduate. Most stall on the curve. Your exit is selling back down the curve, often at a substantial loss.
  • Impersonation. Anyone can launch a token with any name, ticker or image. A familiar name means nothing about who deployed it.
  • Smart contract bugs. Audits reduce risk; they do not eliminate it.

Before you buy

  1. Check the fee tier. A 5% token costs 5% to enter and 5% again to exit.
  2. Check the anti-snipe countdown. Buying at t=0 pays a 99% surcharge. Wait for the window to close.
  3. Check the dev buy. A large creator position is a large potential sell.
  4. Check the buyer count. A handful of buyers means an extremely thin market where your own exit will move the price hard.
  5. Verify the contract address. Do not trust a name or a logo — many tokens will share both.

Protecting your wallet

  • Check the URL every time. Phishing clones of launchpad interfaces are common and convincing.
  • Never share a seed phrase. No legitimate site or support person will ever ask for one.
  • Read what you are signing. If a prompt does not match the action you just took, reject it.
  • Consider a separate wallet for memecoin trading, holding only what you are actively willing to risk.

Prediction market risks

Betting carries its own distinct risks — locked stakes, no early exit, and odds that shift until the deadline. See prediction market risks.

This runs on a young chain. Bugs, downtime, and unexpected behaviour are all possible. Size your positions with that in mind.
